What is RRAMP?
Lyons Roofing exclusive Roof Repair And Maintenance Program (RRAMP) is professional roof care, consisting of scheduled roof inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and preventive repairs.
How does this program work?
It works much the same as a maintenance or service agreement on a piece of equipment. We assume the responsibility and expense of maintaining your roof in a watertight and functional condition for up to four years. Through annual inspections and repairs, your investment is protected and the roof’s life is increased.
How do we start a RRAMP Program?
Lyons Roofing will inspect and evaluate your roof’s condition. You are then presented with a complete roof overview, photos of critical areas that need immediate attention, and recommendations for any immediate repair work, which may be necessary to bring it to a maintainable condition.
Can RRAMP be renewed?
Yes, as your Lyons Pride RRAMP™ Warranty nears the end, you will be notified of your options.
Is RRAMP tax deductible?
Yes, since it’s considered “maintenance” it’s 100% deductible. You don’t have to amortize it for 39 years like a capital improvement. Check with your CPA for details for your particular situation.
How much does RRAMP cost?
It all depends on your roof’s condition and the quantity and nature of roof mounted equipment and foot traffic. In most cases, RRAMP will not exceed 32% of the cost of a new roof system.
How long will RRAMP remain in effect?
From one to four years, as determined at the program’s outset.
Is there a charge for the evaluation?
NO! Lyons Roofing always offers a courtesy roof evaluation at no charge. We do offer our premium RRAMP Plus Roof Report, complete with pictures at a nominal fee, if you choose not to take advantage of our RRAMP program.
What annual services will be performed?
Lyons Roofing will clean, inspect, and repair roof membrane and membrane flashings to maintain your roof in a watertight condition. This may include, but not be limited to deterioration, blisters, ridges, splits, holes, bare areas, fish mouths, roof flashings, pipes & penetrations, skylights, equipment seals and expansion joints. Debris will be removed from the roof surface. All drains, scuppers, gutters, downspouts or other drainage points will be cleared.
What if a leak occurs?
We can usually respond and make necessary repairs within 24 hours and at no additional charge. In the event repairs are due to an item or condition not covered by RRAMP, such as, acts of God, vandalism, destruction by others, etc., we will make emergency repairs and invoice them. In any event, a "best-effort" stop-leak will be made.
Can you RRAMP any type of roof?
Yes, flat, modified, shingles and foam are all great candidates for RRAMP. Tile on the other hand requires a different approach which your Roof Repair And Maintenance Program specialist can evaluate and discuss with you on your particular situation.
