◉ Professional Expertise
Providing roofing services in the desert – where it doesn’t rain much – for over three decades indicates our drive, determination and success in building excellent relationships with our customers, suppliers and the entire communities in which we serve. Not only does Lyons Roofing hire the best roofing professionals, we also make sure we hire the best community members. From your very first phone call, we want your experience to be exceptional. Years of expert roofing installation and repair skills, combined with years of providing reasons to make you happy you’ve hired us is what our team offers to each and every customer.
◉ Comprehensive Service
Our roof installation process is thorough. From the moment you have your initial consultation with us to the final walk and cleanup, we literally check all the boxes.
Before the installation begins, we get to know and understand your roof with a detailed inspection of your underlayment, roofing materials and roof components to ensure we have a full and clear scope of work for you to consider.
Because we cannot always see the substrate/decking until your work begins and the old roof is torn off, you may encounter a change order being added to your project. This doesn’t happen with every project but may happen to yours if wood has molded and become delaminated. It’s not visible at the inspection appointment. Still, we have the experience of determining if there is any softening or suspected substrate degradation and can prepare you for potential additional charges.
◉ Clear Communication and Reporting
We won’t leave you in the dark. If anything, we may over-communicate…but that’s okay. Once we have scheduled an appointment, a project, a revisit of your Lyons Roof to see how it’s doing…. we’ll stick to the plan and confirm in writing and throughout the project both verbally and with photographs. You will see what we are doing each day and will be able to ask any questions that arise. Arizona is a winter visitor state, and we know that sometimes a roof may need to be worked on while you are away from us. No wories at all – we‘ll make sure you stay looped in on what’s happening with your project!
◉ Initial Consultation and Inspection
During our initial consultation, we meet to understand your needs and preferences. We use this time to assess the structural integrity of your home and determine the best options for roofing materials. These assessments are comprehensive and cover the condition of everything that touches the roof. We make considerations for the type of roofing material that is best suited for your home and give you pricing and warranty options. Lyons Roofing always recommends that you receive at least three proposals from licensed, bonded and insured roofing contractors who are same-in-class and we are confident that we will remain your top choice!
◉ Roof Installation Process
Once you’ve decided to partner with Lyons Roofing, your project goes through an audit with our General Production Manager to ensure that all details have been accurately noted. This review and audit process may take 7 – 10 days ….we do not want to rush this important step. If any changes or suggestions need to be discussed, you will hear from your Project Specialist. If all is good, then your project will be assigned to one of our very talented and experienced Project Managers who will be your point person during the entire installation. Your Project Manager will call you to confirm details, explain what to expect each day, answer any of your questions and, of course, give you that all-important start date. Please note that all start dates are considered tentative – you just never know when Mother Nature will show up so all parties involved have to remain flexible when it comes to production. Arizona storms can, on occasion, show up without much notice. Ensuring safety for our team, your home and especially your family is something that we consider non-negotiable. A safe project is always a successful project!
Roofing is a construction project. There will be some noise….there will be some dirt and debris. We have a variety of ways to keep your property clean and we will let you know what items we plan to use for your particular job. From covering pools, to laying tarps on the ground to collect debris to placing a dumpster outside are several of the ways we try to capture roofing debris. Keeping your property as clean as possible is imperative to how we conduct our installations. Additionally, we will perform daily property checks and use a high-level magnet to sweep the area surrounding your home as pristine as possible.
◉ Final Inspection and Cleanup
At the end of your project, your Project Manager will schedule a Final Walk Appointment. This time is used to go over every aspect of the project, answer any lingering questions, and adjust anything that needs adjusting. Upon receipt of your final payment, your Project Manager will provide your warranty documents to you for your records.
Note: Once you have a new Lyons Roofing on your home, make sure you contact your homeowner’s insurance agent to update your policy. Some insurance companies will re-rate your policy and reduce

“Lyons Roofing was highly recommended to us by our neighbor. We were very impressed with the quality of the work. During the initial inspection, our Project Specialist shared photos of our roof, and explained the whole process. He and, Heather were very professional and kept us informed about each stage of our project. Our Project Manager was great. His work crew demonstrated exceptional skill during the installation process. We are very pleased with the timeliness and quality of their work. We highly recommend Lyons Roofing.” – Barbara Casanova
“The best experience ever….. Lyons Roofing did a fantastic job replacing our Spanish Tile roof. Our Tucson Project Manager was very informative on when the job would start, who was doing the work, what time they would start, etc. The whole thing was ‘painless’ and we love our new roof……” – Laurel Wadley
“After we accepted their proposal, we had to wait nearly 4 months for our roof replacement, but it was worth the wait. They came as scheduled, worked fast and hard, and the crew did an amazing cleanup over the entire yard and driveway. They also replaced 4 skylights, moved 2 big HVAC units, and took out an old satellite dish that was on our roof. They were not our lowest bid, but we’re the only ones to propose a foam roof. I highly recommend them.” – Sharon O’Brien
Our team of dedicated professionals can handle any roofing issue you have. You can be confident that your commercial roof or residential roof is being worked on by a roofing company with a well-respected reputation for excellent service.

The lifespan of a roof varies significantly based on numerous factors including the quality of its initial construction, the extent of wear and tear it experiences, the level of maintenance it receives, and how suitable its design is for its environment. So, what is a typical lifespan for a roof? In this harsh desert climate, and from the original builder’s grade materials, we find that tile and shingle roofs have a lifespan of approximately 22-25 years. The intense heat will deteriorate the underlayment and pull any elasticity so that your roof will no longer correctly expand and contract. Foam roofing, if maintained with recoating every 8-10 years, may last approximately 30-40 years. We can perform specific foam roofing tests to determine it’s remaining serviceable life at the time of the initial inspection.
